Hanging Tag Calendar

Calendars make great gifts during the holidays, like this fantastic calendar installation  from ErinZam.

Of course you don’t have to hang the tags from the green wire tree, you can tack them to a corkboard or hang them on tiny hooks. A creative alternative to desktop easel calendars.

Send a Postcard This Season

Do you send Christmas Cards? I try, but fail miserably every year–only to feel a lot of guilt when I receive cards from family and friends. I think cards should be thoughtful and meaningful; but don’t necessarily have to be traditional. This year I might just change my tune thanks to this  postcard from Perch Papiers. I think it’s the perfect eco-friendly (no envelope), wallet friendly (cheaper stamps) festive note to say ‘Hey, happy holidays!’

Perch Papier has a great assortment of postcards and other stationery treats.

Bunny, Bunny

The first of every month is the perfect time to wish everyone Bunny Bunny! It means good luck all month long. So Bunny Bunny everyone.

I am love with this holiday card from Belle and Boo. It’s the perfect mix of vintage print, holiday tradition, and old-fashioned sentiment.

Smile

Its about time I posted something again. Quick update: TagIt! debuted at the National Stationery Show (successfully!). Those are the highlights, and here we are already in October! Time flies. I’m making an effort to finally get back to the stuff I love doing, the stuff that makes me smile.

Today was the perfect Fall day, and for the first time in a very, very long time, I did some of the things I used to do that make me happy. Hence, the inspiration for today’s tags.

I love, love, love this print. And just browsing the Monkey Mind Design shop makes me happy.

It’s hard not to smile when checking out any Parsy Handmade Cards.

This is good advice from Jax Scraps no matter what.

These tags from Pinky Crafts are simple; I especially like the choice of blue stripes and stencil.

I couldn’t resist this last paper item from Monkey Mind Design. An inspirational calendar (without the well-meaning sentimental mush.)

Forgive me, I’m a little rusty. I hope you enjoyed the post and I promise to post more often. Make life easier and have ‘The Daily Tag: It’s The Little Things” delivered straight to your inbox. Nice and easy…now that’s worth smiling over. 🙂

Cheers!

Pretty In Pink

Pink. The color of spring and all things girl-y. I go through phases with pink, I love it…then I don’t love it so much. Right now, I love it, in part because I am going to be an Aunt, again, to a little baby girl. Last time was this in love with pink was when my daughter was born.

Super sweet cupcake toppers from Brianna Beans Boutique.

Spring-appropriate cherry blossom card from Sweet Bella .

Sophisticated design and pinks from the wonderful letterpress shop, SmockPaper .

Pink is a staple in  Lilly dresses. These adorable preppy tags are from L. Whelan Designs.

There’s so many shades and uses for pink–for me it’s just a matter of finding the right ones.

Smells Like Coffee

I have coffee on my mind–and on my clothes, hair and laptop bag. Well, not coffee itself but the smell of coffee. I logged almost 20 hours in Starbucks this weekend, thanks to a weekend rush assignment. Besides leaving me with extreme insomnia, it left me and everything I had with me smelling like Java.

(Wake up and smell the coffee with these letterpress coffee mug tags
from Sweet Harvey.)

Coffee fans will understand. Even though I was slightly repulsed by this smell, I still prepped my coffee for this morning, which, now, I’m sipping happily–albeit groggy from last night’s lack of sleep. ( Though, it did allow me to finally catch up on Project Runway, and the season finale of Big Love–that was a good one!)

Sip away fellow coffee drinkers.
