Why not? Tags are useful and creative and mini and are  found everywhere tagging everything from gifts to luggage to book pages and doorknobs and wine bottles and kids clothing and shelves and so much more. And just as I love all paper products–stationery, wrapping paper, greeting cards, note paper, you name it–I love tags in all their variations.

Something else about me: I have a Type-A personality when it comes to being organized. I make lists, I make lists of lists (I love lists) and I label everything.

With all this list-making, one might think my apartment would be a little neater. As one of my favorite people in the world says “a place for everything and everything in its place”. And since I tend to put everything everywhere, I need help (a lot of help) keeping things in place. Tags help.

It’s simple. Tags identify, and they do so with chameleon like character and style. This is why I think it’s time the  little tag deserves a big tribute. And who better to do so than the person obsessed enough to dedicate a blog to it?

If you have any suggestions for a tag post, send me an e-mail at thedailytag@gmail.com.

Thanks for stopping by!
